Sorta Famous Fridays : The Japanese Snowboarder Magazine Buyers Guide Drops

Its the middle of the summer, but apparently Japanese Magazine's are getting revved up already to promote snowboarding. Japanese Snowboarder Magazine just released the new Buyers Guide. Last winter Milbery hooked me up with an Allian Rocker board. I am in LOVE with this board. Definitely check out the new line of Allian boards. It's always exciting to see new products hitting the market.

Sort Of Famous Fridays
We took a trip to lovely Austin,Texas to go visit our good friend Griff. Griff, as most Colorado residents would know him from Cosmo's Pizza in Boulder, moved down to Austin a few years back. The opportunity arose to do up some wall murals in a brand spanking new Wahoo's Fish taco restaurant . So, we made up a few specialized designs for Texas and went to town for 48 hours. 48 hours, 2 plane tickets, one day of wakeboarding, one hip hop show, 2 pool parties, plenty of Wahoo's fish tacos and 17 cowboy hats' later...we have this video edit. "Don't Mess With So-Gnar!" Fool. Here are the pics for the trip plus a few Sheppard Fairey goodies we spotted around town.

The journey begins there, the mix travels through a little Bill Withers and Bar-Kays...and ends up with a funky Mark Ronson remix of Miike Snow's anthem "animal." 34 tracks are mixed on this nice little Gem that conveniently wraps up in 72 minutes. Tube-U-Lar Tuesdays: It's All Fun And Games...

HeadHunter Sunscreen is a legendary company based out of sunny Southern California known for it's quality products and world class surfers. Head Hunter was formed in 1989 by two brothers that spent way too much time in sun surfing and getting beat up by the sun. So, they figured why not try to create a product that is better suited for their lifestyle. They came up with a formula that has stuck to peoples faces ever since and used by most surfers out there. HeadHunter has slowly been spreading their way into the snowboard world. It only makes sense, hence the amount of time we live outside on the slopes riding and having fun. Most of the time, it is fair to say that we are in high altitudes where the UV rays are even stronger, which makes even more sense to apply a little sunscreen to avoid skin cancer issues later on in life. We luckily have had the privilege of linking up with HeadHunter and doing two series of collab package designs for them. The design is a combination of their icon "war-painted" face with a couple of our SO GNAR monsters. Our collab sunscreen is strictly for promo use only for the Mighty Midwest Snowboard Camp Tour and 7 "It's all fun & games" dates this summer for Woodward @ Copper Mtn. This collaboration only made sense because getting burned like this girl is definitely SO-GNAR.
